The following is to inform you about the information being collected while registering on this online learning platform and enrolling in one of our courses.
1. Information relating to your use of our course
When learners enroll in our courses, we will track, collect and aggregate information indicating, among other things:
Courses
- Number of enrollments
- Number of new learners vs. number of “returning” (existing) learners
- Completion rate
- Average number of days to complete the course
- Number of views per content type (video, multimedia, text, quiz, survey, etc.)
Video lessons
- Total plays (how many times a lesson video was played)
- Average play rate (on average %, how many learners who loaded a lesson video on a webpage actually played the video).
- Average engagement (on average %, how much of the lesson video was watched)
- When last was this lesson video watched
Quizzes
- Number of attempts per quiz
- Average % of correct/wrong answers per quiz question
Surveys
- Number of surveys responded to
- Number of surveys completed
- Average % completion of survey
- Aggregated responses per survey question
Course Reviews
- Number of course reviews
- Average rating
2. Information relating to your use of the online learning platform
Please note that the online learning platform may also collect the following information:
- which pages of the online learning platform site were visited
- the order in which these pages were visited
- when these pages were visited
- which hyperlinks were clicked on to access these pages
- which URLs were used to access the online learning platform site
Collecting such information may involve logging the IP address, operating system and browser software used by each user of the Site. The online learning platform may be able to determine from an IP address a user’s Internet Service Provider (ISP) and the geographic location of the learner’s point of connectivity.
The online learning platform may also use cookies and web beacons when visiting their website.

3. Personally Identifiable Information (PII) provided directly by you or via third parties
We collect Personally Identifiable Information (PII) that you provide to us when you enroll for a course, update or change information for your account, purchase courses, complete a survey, sign-up for email updates, participate in our public forums, send us email messages, and/or participate in content offerings or other services.
We may use the PII that you provide to respond to questions, provide you the specific content offering and/or services you select, send you updates about content offerings or other course events.
The online learning platform may also send you email messages about site maintenance or updates.
Account Registration
If you register for an account on the online learning platform, you will be required to provide them with PII such as your name, email address, and country of residence.
Forums
The courses may offer public discussion forums (the "Forums") where you can share comments and thoughts. You need to keep in mind that information you post or make available in Forums will be publicly available (visible to other learners who have registered or will register in future for this course). You should therefore not include any PII or other information of a personal or sensitive nature, whether relating to you or any other person, in a Forum post.

Participation in content offerings
The online learning platform offers their users the opportunity to participate in a content offering on or through the Site. If you desire or are required to participate in a content offering, you will be asked to provide certain information necessary to conduct such a content offering. This information may include, among other things, your name, email address and country of residence.
If you participate in a course content offering, we may collect from you certain learner-generated content, such as quiz responses, assignments submitted to your instructor or moderator, peer-graded assignments, and peer-graded learner feedback.
We also collect course-specific data, such as learner responses to standalone quizzes, assessments, exams and surveys.
You should not include any PII or other information of a personal or sensitive nature, whether relating to you or any other person, on assignments, exams, or surveys, except for information required to participate or submit such assignments, exams, or surveys.
Surveys
We will receive and store PII when you provide information in response to a course survey.
The online learning platform will receive and store PII when you provide information in response to an extra-curriculum survey operated by the online learning platform.
Communications with online learning platform
The online learning platform may receive PII when you send them an email message or otherwise contact them (e.g. support request).
Updates
The online learning platform may offer you the ability to receive updates either via email or by posting on portions of the Site only accessible to registered users. In order to subscribe to these Services, you may be required to provide them with PII such as your name and email address.
Identity Verification
The online learning platform may offer you the ability to verify your identity for selected Services. In order to enroll for these Services, you may be required to provide them or their third-party identity verification vendor with PII such as your name, address, date of birth, a headshot taken using a webcam, and a photo identification document.

Please note that third-party payment processing service provider (not the online learning platform) collects and processes your credit card information.
Partner Sites
Partner sites providing content offering related tools and services to the online learning platform users may collect non-financial individual level user data regarding the individual’s use of that partner site while the partner sites provide those services to online learning platform. The partner sites may share that data with the online learning platform for the purpose of improving the online learning platform’s Services, the partner site’s services, and the individual’s education experience. This data includes information such as the amount of time spent on the partner site and pages viewed.
